BZU Admissions 2026 are now open for the Fall 2026 semester. Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU), one of the leading public universities in Punjab, has officially started the admission process for Fall 2026. What is the Honhaar Scholarship Scheme?
Punjab government’s Honhaar Scholarship scheme aims to ensure that the talented students are not deprived of higher studies for want of money. The programme provides 100% tuition fee coverage to eligible undergraduate students enrolled in public sector universities of Punjab. BZU Multan is one of the approved institutions under the scheme.
Who can apply?
Below are the criteria to be eligible for the Honhaar Scholarship along with the BZU Fall 2026 admission:
- Punjab province domicile holders shall
- Must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks in the last qualifying examination (Matriculation or Intermediate)
- Must be enrolled or about to be enrolled in an undergraduate programme of a recognised Punjab public university
- Annual family income not more than Rs. 1.5 lakh (as per the income threshold of the scheme)
- Must not be in receipt of any other government scholarship concurrently

- Visit the official admission portal of BZU at: bzu.edu.pk
- Create a new account Log In Use existing account Sign Up
- Select the program you want from the programs offered for Fall 2026.
- Provide the Academic, Personal and Domicile details correctly.
- Upload required documents like Matriculation and Intermediate certificates, CNIC/B-Form and domicile certificate
- Pay the application processing fee through the prescribed bank challan or online payment mode.
- Keep your application reference number and send in the form

- Go to the official portal: honhaar.punjab.gov.pk
- Click and click on “New Registration” and create a student account using your CNIC or B-Form number
- Enter Study Record, Family Income Information and University Registration Information
- Upload supporting documents such as income certificate, domicile, academic transcripts and university admission confirmation letter
- Submit the scholarship application and record your tracking ID
- Check your application status through the same portal after submission

Coverage of Fee Waivers
The Honhaar Scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fees charged by the university. Generally, charges for hostel, transport and miscellaneous are not included and are the responsibility of the student. The scholarship is made payable directly to the university in the student’s name.
