Upgrades In Airport Screening Measures
Pakistan has stepped up screening at major airports and entry points on the borders. Anyone arriving from or passing through countries with Ebola outbreaks will have to provide details of their recent travel history for the last 21 days.
Medical teams are deployed at major airports, including Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, where thermal screening and health checks are carried out as needed. These measures are aimed at helping to identify potential cases at an early stage and to contain the disease from spreading further.

Why Experts Say Risk Is Extremely Low
Ebola is spread by close physical contact with someone who has symptoms. The risk to the general public is very low. There are also limited direct travel links with the outbreak regions, further reducing the chance of imported infections.
