Islamabad goes under high security lockdown as Islamabad Red Zone today is sealed by authorities in anticipation of US-Iran talks. The relocation underscores the increasing diplomacy of Pakistan as well as the high security levels in the sensitive regions.

Traffic Diversions for Pindi-Isloo Commuters
It is recommended that commuters in Rawalpindi and Islamabad not use central routes. Other alternative routes, like Margalla Road and 7th Avenue, are open, but congestion is likely to be experienced.
