In an official announcement on March 9, the Balochistan government extended the province’s school closures – Balochistan School Break Extended until March 31, 2026 for all public and private educational institutions, including schools and colleges.

Because no examinations have been rescheduled due to the school closure, all students who are taking examinations should remain ready to take their examinations on schedule.

Will Schools Reopen After March 31?
Currently, the Balochistan Provincial Government has announced that March 31, 2026 is the expected date for the reopening of all educational institutions in Balochistan (BPHP). Although March 31 has been confirmed as the reopening date, Balochistan’s Government continues to monitor the drug- and alcohol-related situations in universities and secondary schools in Balochistan; if conditions do not improve by the end of this period, additional extensions may be granted.
