pcb announces t20i squad for bangladesh series under new coach
Some notable senior players have been left out as Pakistan cricket selectors make wide changes to the squad that will play Bangladesh in T20Is. For the first time, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi have been rested, giving younger players the chance to play for Pakistan in international matches. Salman Ali Agha will lead the team and Shadab Khan appointed as vice-captain. The committee made it clear that Pakistan Super League performances this season were most important for squad selection.

Having scored 180 runs in the PSL, Farhan will join the team after a three-year absence and Saim Ayub is back after recovering from an illness in South Africa. Mike Hesson, from New Zealand, is leading Pakistan for the first time as head coach, marking a different method for Pakistan’s T20 play. Expect the three matches, named a series, to be played in Lahore soon, with definite dates to come.
