Kane Williamson Joins Karachi Kings Ahead of Key PSL 10 Matches
Karachi Kings are well and truly strengthened as a veteran batter formally joined the squad after his selection in the supplementary category during the PSL 10 players’ draft. He checked into the team hotel and would bat at the nets later today, preparing for the big match against Quetta Gladiators, scheduled for Friday (tomorrow) at the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) ground.
Big Matches Ahead for Karachi Kings
The Karachi Kings have a tough schedule ahead. After the Gladiators, they will face the Multan Sultans on May 1 and then face Lahore Qalandars, their biggest rivals on May 4, followed by matches against Peshawar Zalmi on May 8 before finishing off their group stage against Islamabad United, the defending champions, on May 10.
David Warner‘s boys have been in good form, winning 3 out of the five matches in the tournament. Their last win was a nail-biter against Peshawar Zalmi on April 22, where they managed to clinch it in the last over at the National Stadium.
With the present squad bolstered, Karachi Kings fans have a lot to cheer about, with the business end of the tournament now near.
