rizwan shifts from wicketkeeper to on field mentor in psl 10
Mohammad Rizwan made the change to stop wicketkeeping for PSL 10 because he wants to directly help his team through field placements and player guidance. During the match interview with Ramiz Raja Rizwan clarified how his tactics led to this deliberate role modification. Rizwan wanted to stand beside his fielders to speak directly with them and motivate them during matches.
The experienced player selected the inexperience of Multan’s bowlers as his primary reason for field menton shifts during the match. As a veteran player Rizwan feels his insight now supports the younger bowlers Ubaid Shah and Akif Javed when matches become challenging.
The bowling unit consists of numerous young players who need guidance. He wants to serve as a mentor by reading their mental state and safeguarding their poise throughout the match. The change gave wicketkeeper-batsman Usman Khan the opportunity to bat at number three where he delivers momentum to the team according to Rizwan.
He admitted they had not performed well enough in the field over the past three matches. The poor performance in fielding denied the important game situations which explains why the results remain unfavorable.
