Pakistan Crushes Bangladesh 6-0 in Junior Asia Cup Hockey Match

Pakistan junior national hockey team defeated the team Bangladesh with a record score of 6 – 0 in second group match of the 2024 Junior Asia Cup. A recent match at Muscat, Oman did prove to be an interesting fare where Sufyan Khan was the man of the evening as he successfully scored a hat trick. 

Pakistan in their next match also played well to continue their winning spree; their intelligent tactics and superb performance on the field were quite visible after they had thrashed china 7-2 in their first match of the tournament.

Sufyan Khan stood out as the most outstanding player, taking charge of the entire Pakistan winning streak as well as exemplary hockey techniques. He gave Pakistan the lead with a neat penalty corner in the 23rd minute and this introduced Pakistan’s dominance. 

Shortly after, Mohammad Ammad added more misery to the Bangladesh team by scoring a well-finished field goal to make it 2-0. Khan’s next goals in the 32nd and 43rd minute not only made the scores more definite for Pakistan but also earned him a splendid hat-trick.

The match ended when in the 51st minute Rana Waleed made a fifth goal and in the last few minutes of the match Zakiya Hayat scored the final goal. Mohammad Ammad rightfully became the Player of the Match as his brief playing indicated the greatest potential of the team and its participants.
