Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi along with head coaches Gary Kirsten and Jason Gillespie is set to have talks with a group of nine players comprising names such as Pak captain Shan Masood, and star batter Babar Azam, after the camp proceedings starts.
The other 7 players include left hand opening batsman Fakhar Zaman, right hand explosive middle order batsman and wicket keeper Mohammad Rizwan, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agah, spinners Saud Shakeel and Shadab Khan and left hand fast bowler and former captain Shaheen Shah Afridi.
Chairman Naqvi has stated that the dialogue session is the first round of talks to improve and reshape the future of Pak cricket and more talk sessions are to follow for the betterment and restore to its previous glory. Red ball captain Shan Masood has said that this round of discussion will help in developing a strong mechanism to improve the cricket standards in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s red ball coach Jason Gillespie was seen sharing his thoughts of highlighting the common goal of raising the cricketing standards and fostering a winning culture. Gary Kristen who is the white ball head coach of Pakistan Men’s cricket team said that his and the team’s focus along with the support staff would be to raise the boys cricketing standards to meet the current international standards (ICC standards) of the cricketing world.
