Awami Muslim League chief, and former Pakistan federal Minister Sheikh Rashid has condemned the arrests made inside parliament and called the action inappropriate describing the actions inappropriate and unwarranted.

Speaking to the media outside the sessions court in Islamabad, Rashid stated that after September 30, the political landscape will be more apparent and urged to be patient till then.

An acquittal plea in the case against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan and AML chief Sheikh Rashid submitted at the Aabpara police station was previously considered by the sessions court in Islamabad. 

Both the leaders were accompanied by Sadaqat Abbasi. Sardar Masroof and Sardar Shahbaz were their legal representatives. The acquisitions were related to section 144 being violated. Sardar Masroof contended that the other co accused had not been found guilty till now and pleaded to the court to clear and release the charges against Rashid and Khan.

The court has not yet made a final decision regarding the acquittal of the two accused, that is Sheikh Rashid and Imran Khan.
