COAS General Asim Munir talks about Upholding the Constitution

General Asim Munir who is a Chief of Army Staff COAS spoke at the Passing Out Parade of Cadets at Pakistan Air Force Asghar Khan Academy Risalpur. General Asim Munir talked about the importance of respecting the Constitution. He also stated that the Military is aware of its Constitutional Limits. He ask other to uphold these principles as well. He also talk about the imported role of the Air Force in making national security safe.

Role of Pakistan Air Force

General Munir give Compliment to]the Pakistan Air Force for its Bravery and Professionalism. He also said that Pakistan’s Airforce have done a great job when country is facing complicated challenges. Pakistan’s airspace is one of te best airspace in world. He also talked about the  February 2019  then the Pakistan Air Force’s  shot down an Indian Aircraft during a border conflict.

The Army Chief General Munir encouraged the newly Commissioned cadets. He Remind Cadets their duty to protect the skies of the country and be country strengths.  He ask them to live by values such as character.He ask them to always be ready to defend the Nation’s honor and Dgnity. Freedom of Speech 

General Munir talked about how freedom of speech in Pakistan has limits as defined by Article 19 of the Constitution. He also said that Freedom of expression is very imported.  He saidthere are certain rules to follow and people who break them shouldn’t be pointing fingers at others. 

 Arms Race and Global Conflicts

The Army Chief tlaks about what could happen if Countries start Competing to build more Weapons. He said is can distub the balance of power in the Country.

General Asim Munir commented on the ongoing Indian aggression in Jammu and Kashmir. He also said that the Silence of the global community cannot stop the voice of freedom.General Munir said Pakistan will always support the people of Kashmir through moral, political and diplomatic.  He said Pakistan would continue to stand by Kashmiri brothers in their struggle for freedom.
