A recent incident at Istanbul Airport in Turkiye has put a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight on hold. The flight, PK-704, encountered a Technical problem with its landing gear. The flight was traveling from Istanbul to Islamabad. Passengers onboard were safely transferred to a Turkish Airlines flight while PIA’s engineering team set off to fix the issue.

sadly this is not  the first time PIA flight has faced such difficulties. Earlier in January, nine of its planes were grounded due to a shortage of spare parts. This includes five Airbus-320, three Boeing-777 and one ATR aircraft out of the 31 planes in their fleet.

The national airline’s future seems uncertain as it heavily relies on support from the State Bank of Pakistan. Additionally, leasing companies have expressed concerns about Pakistan’s business policies, citing a CCC rating.

This is very troubling For passengers and crew. Such incidents can make people restless and worry. Technical Faults can cause Delays and inconvenience for travelers., it’s was imported to prioritize safety above everything else. Airlines always have strict maintenance Protocols. Int this way they ensure that planes are safe to fly.
