The Indian media stated that security agencies advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to change the schedule of the Pakistan vs India match due to Navratri, a festival widely celebrated in Gujarat on the 15th of October.
The Cricket World Cup will consist of ten teams playing at ten venues from October 5 to November 19, with the opening and final matches held in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium.

The day matches will start at 10:00 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST), while all other matches will be day-night fixtures starting at 01:30 pm (PST).
If Pakistan qualifies for the semi-finals, they will play in Kolkata, and if India qualifies, they will play in Mumbai unless against Pakistan, in which case they will play in Kolkata.
Semi Finals Schedule
The World Cup will follow a round-robin format with 45 league matches, and the top four teams will proceed to the semi-finals scheduled in Mumbai on November 15 and in Kolkata on November 16, with reserve days for the semi-finals and final.
Additionally, a panel, led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, is meeting to decide on Pakistan’s participation in the World Cup in India, with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and PCB Management Committee Chairman Zaka Ashraf attending to discuss the matter, including the venue for the Pakistan vs India match.

The panel’s recommendations will be forwarded to the prime minister for the final decision on the country’s participation in the tournament.
