Petrol Bombs in Plastic Bottles

Imran Khan, former Pakistani Cricket team captain and former Prime Minister of Pakistan is currently facing 37 cases in Pakistan including cases filed by Federal Investigation Authority and security forces of Pakistan.

Police forces of Lahore and Islamabad police halted their operation to arrest Imran Khan on court orders on 16th of March, 2023 but faced a massive conflict making a lot of security personnel and PTI workers injured.

Police forces were stopped

The Interior Minister of Pakistan Rana Sana Ullah claimed that PTI workers stopped police forces through stone-pelting and petrol bombs in plastic bottles. They all tried to intervene legal actions which should not be ignored. On the other hand PTI workers claimed that police attacked workers who were doing peaceful protest outside Khan’s house.

The PTI workers and senior members claimed that workers were just carrying plastic bottles of water and not any bombs in it. However police forces claimed that they were attacked with petrol bombs inside plastic bottles.

Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah talked to media and said that, police was attacked and it does not matter petrol bombs were in plastic bottles or in real bottles. Chairman PTI tried to attempt fights with police forces by calling off his workers outside the house.

Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah said that police only raided the political side of Khan’s residence despite they had the search warrants of residential side but they did not. Still Imran Khan and his party workers are challenging the raid of police.

Police forces are just carrying out what they are ordered to do by court of Pakistan. Imran Khan is just trying to go against the law and putting public in danger zone.
