Dubai, March 6, 2024 (WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Government has launched the Work Bundle an innovative Digital Platform Aimed at Simplifying and Expediting the acquisition of Work Permits for Private Sector Employees. Initially Launched in Dubai, This initiative is a Key Component of the Broader Zero Bureaucracy Program led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.

The Work Bundle Seeks to Transform Traditional Residency and Employment Procedures Slashing Processing times from 30 Days to just Five. Sheikh Mohammed underscored the Significance of Streamlining Government Processes noting that the initiative Aligns with the Overarching Vision of Boosting Efficiency and Minimizing Bureaucratic Obstacles.

This Project is Expected to Save an impressive 62 Million Working Days that were Previously Dedicated to Renewing Residencies and Employment Contracts within Government Frameworks. Annual Procedures are Anticipated to be Reduced by 25 Million Resulting in Substantial Cost savings for both Governmental and Private Sectors.

The Work Bundle offers a Unified Platform for Private Sector Companies Simplifying tasks such as Renewal, Cancellation, Medical Examinations and Fingerprinting. It is a Collaborative Effort involving Various Government Entities including the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship Customs and Ports Security, The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai and Dubai Health with Support from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism.
