Tragic Demise of 12-Year-Old House Help in Sargodha Exposes Dark Realities of Child Labor

In a sad and shocking incident in Village 84 South, Sargodha, a 12-year-old house help named Ayesha lost her life due to alleged torture by her employers. The employers, a man named Jawad Bhatti and his wife, reportedly beat the child with iron rods and sticks. The sad incident brings attention to the difficult situation faced by young individuals. Young children who start working in early ages to help their families during tough economic times.

Ayesha’s family received a call from the suspects who said their daughter had an accident and suffered Multiple injuries. Upon reaching the location, the family discovered the horrifying truth.  Ayesha had been brutally tortured and killed. Subsequently, Bhatti and his wife fled the scene.

The local police have registered a murder case against Jawad Bhatti and his wife based on the complaint filed by the house help’s father. Police are searching and try to catch the culprit. Bhatti, identified as a toll plaza contractor, managed to escape after the alleged crime.

The new Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has taken a strict notice of the incident. She asked for a thorough investigation.  emphasizing the need for swift justice. She stated that violence has no place in Punjab. She condemned this horrific act.
