Sugar Prices Surge by Rs 23.42 in Pakistan, Government’s Ramadan Price Control Efforts Fall Short

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reveals prices of sugar have increased thirty-three percent throughout Pakistan during the last twelve weeks. People throughout the country now pay more for sugar with prices increasing from Rs 131.85 to Rs 155.27 per kilogram while some cities record even higher prices of up to Rs 165 per kilogram.
