The crowned prince of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan has been injured due to an injury during shooting his much awaited film, King. The superstar injured himself when an action scene was being filmed in one of the studios in Mumbai leading to temporary suspension of filming. Shahrukh Khan has now gone to America in search of some treatment and the loyal fans are concerned about the health of their star.
What Happened to Shah Rukh Khan During King Movie Filming?
The accident occurred when the Shah Rukh Khan was shooting in the Golden Tobacco studio in Mumbai. He was doing a tough stunt scene of his soon-to-be action film King when he was injured. According to the people in close relation with the film, Shahrukh Khan sustained a muscle injury, and more information is being withheld.
This injury is not viewed as very serious; however, it is defined as muscle strain. Employees in the movie elaborate that Shah Rukh khan has been performing action scenes quite a long time and his body has had to take a beating over the years on account of the action scenes. All that build up of pressure on his muscles appears to have led to such latest injury.
“It’s not a serious injury, but more of a muscular strain,” production revealed. This is because they reported that the team of Shah Rukh Khan had resolved to go to an extra mile; they sent him to the US to get the best treatment possible.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Recovery Plan and Movie Delays
The doctors have advised Shahrukh Khan not to work at least in a month. Consequently, this implies that he is unable to work or engage in any form of physical exercises during this period. The whole shoot of King has been stalled due to Shah Rukh Khan injury.
The production team of the movie had adopted a number of studios in Mumbai as July and August such as Film City, Golden Tobacco and YRF Studios. But till Shah Rukh Khan gets fully well all these bookings are cancelled. Its next shooting date is currently set to be somewhere in September or October, 2024.
King is supposed to be a large-scale action and the number of big-name actors is boundless. In addition to Shahrukh Khan, the film has actor Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Arshad Warsi, Abhay Verma, Anil Kapoor, the film also has Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, and Shah Rukh Khan daughter Suhana Khan.
