LUMS Hosts UX Pakistan 2025: The Premier Design Conference in Pakistan
Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) was delighted to host UX Pakistan 2025 – the largest and longest-running design conference in the country. The conference was an opportunity for creative people, design practitioners, educators, and students to come together – all in one building – to collaboratively celebrate the importance of human-centered design.
This year’s theme was “Design for Social Impact“, and its focus was on how design can change and solve real-world human problems in the fields like education, climate, health, and urban planning. The sessions offered diverse and compelling ways to get people to think outside of designing solely on apps or websites, and to use design thinking to shape systems, services, and societies.
The conference was full of workshop activities, keynote speakers, and design demonstrations, and as such was a vibrant venue to connect and collaborate. Whether it was a student sharing a new solution, an expert telling their story, or someone showing their work, we saw the real motivation of the conference; to inspire change through well-considered design.
UX Pakistan 2025 reiterated how design is more than just visuals and it can be seen as much more in national change. With conferences such as this, LUMS promotes human-centered design and continues to put human value back in design for everyone.
