pakistan’s first ai launched for social good
MindHYVE.ai and Alkhidmat Launch Pakistan’s First AI
U.S.-based AI company MindHYVE.ai partnered with Alkhidmat Foundation Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to create Pakistan’s first multi-sector AI for Social Good partnership. They finalized the partnership on May 15, 2025, in Peshawar, Pakistan, to use artificial intelligence to address critical humanitarian issues in education, health care, orphan aid, disaster relief, and microfinance.
This initiative’s first step is to roll out ArthurAI, an AI-powered Edu-Tech platform, that can be combined with Alkhidmat’s “Bano Qabil” program, providing educational services to over 85,000 students with personalized learning options, multi-language content (including Urdu and Pashto), and real-time interactive support. What makes this partnership unique is the focus on human-centered AI. There will be a Multi-Sector AI Innovation Lab in Peshawar where the local youth can be trained, build partnerships with local universities, and incubate technology start-ups. The objective is to create a technology-based platform to serve as a hub for regional AI innovation following an ethical, equitable, and sustainable approach.
The Team is also developing additional AI agents (Chiron – health care; Eli – finance; Carter – retail) to assist Alkhidmat on its broader community service initiatives.
MindHYVE.ai and Alkhidmat have partnered to operate under a non-profit licensing. This provides for the ethical use of AI by creating pathways for technology use in disenfranchised communities.
