Pakistan has asked the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for more money, about  to$6 to $8  to help its economy. This money will help Pakistan to grow its economy.  This request was made during a meeting in Washington. In this meeting Pakistani officials were Discussing financial matters.

The exact amount of money and when Pakistan will get it will be decided later, maybe in May. The IMF will send a team to Pakistan to talk about the details of the deal.

Even though Pakistan’s government says things are getting better, the IMF’s latest report says Pakistan is having trouble paying its debts. This means they need more money to keep the country running smoothly.

The IMF thinks Pakistan’s economy will grow by 2% this year, mainly because of farming and textile industries doing better. But there are so many challenges  in the way. They are facing Challenges like high Debt and Inflation, which could slow down the growth and affect the future.

To deal with these challenges and solve the problem Pakistan needs a lot of money. They expect to get some from the IMF and maybe from other sources too. The Finance Minister says they are also talking to banks about borrowing more money.

Pakistan is  also  ready to sell “Green Bonds,”. Green Bonds are special bonds for projects that help the Environment. But there’s still some work to do before they can sell it.   Pakistan is working hard and doing its best to improve its Economy. Pakistan needs money to keep things going smoothly. That’s why Pakistan  asked the IMF for another bailout.
