New Currency Notes Bank List 2026: Fresh Notes for Eid

New CurrencyRecently the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) rejected false statements by stating they will produce new currency notes for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026. SBP stated that commercial banks would uphold their normal practice of giving fresh notes to customers ahead of Eid 2026 at all their branches throughout Pakistan.

During the Ramadan 2026 period, 17,000 commercial bank branches received Rs 27 billion worth of fresh currency notes in all denominations from SBP to support convenient distribution. Under this scheme, SBP helps people access fresh Eid notes according to a well-known Pakistani cultural custom. The updated 2026 bank list features all locations where customers can pick up new currency notes.

The SBP sent monitoring teams to control the currency distribution process to keep it transparent for everyone. During the Eid celebration the SBP demands commercial banks to have sufficient fresh banknotes at all ATMs. SBP made these changes to provide automatic cash delivery to everyone through working ATMs.

The central bank declared its continued commitment to setting up all needed cash processes for Eid 2026.
