Kumkum Bhagya Returns with New Generation: Premieres Today on ZeeTV and Zee5

The successful television drama “Kumkum Bhagya – Ek Naya Adhyay” will start its new tale by presenting a cast of younger characters to television audiences. The 2014 show premier will introduce Pranali Rathod and Akshay Bindra as its new lead pair thus bringing another major timeline shift to the story.

The latest installment created by Balaji Telefilms through Ektaa Kapoor brings together two distinctive characters played by Prathna Rathod and Ronak Bindra. The latest promo reveals the circumstances of Ronak who belongs to a prestigious social standing while Prathna represents a down-to-earth lifestyle with lower financial means. A kitchen scene reveals their diverse cultural influences since Prathna picks Indian dal khichdi instead of the continental options to demonstrate their deep friendship.

Since airing Kumkum Bhagya has stayed popular because of its dramatic storytelling and strong cast performances. When first airing Shabir Ahluwalia and Sriti Jha led the show but Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul took over the lead roles afterward. Rathod and Bindra team up with Gurdip Punjj to lead this television series which will follow the development from friendship to love. Kumkum Bhagya airs at 9 PM on ZeeTV and Zee5 presents OTT streaming for viewers.
