Imran Khan nabbed for corruption of billions in establishment of his Al-Qadir University project just weeks after his Cabinet’s decision regarding a real estate developer who also became the University donor.
Imran Khan was arrested from Islamabad High Court where he was present to get bail in various other cases. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) asked Imran to come and give accountability on case.

The Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Imran Khan is also booked in many other cases which he is getting bail on. After not responding to NAB notice, rangers took him away and currently he is in police lines where accountability case is going on.
The Actual case of Al-Qadir Trust
On December 2, 2019, three weeks before the registration of trust, Imran Khan cabinet took up the matter of Accounts Freezing Orders and Repatriation of Fund to National Crime Agency in Real Estate tycoon and family case.
The National Crime Agency in England close the case and right after closure around 140 million pounds were transferred to Pakistan from real estate tycoon’s account abroad.
The money that was transferred from England directly landed in Supreme Court’s account at National Bank of Pakistan. It raised many questions about the facts behind money and a penalty case of Rs 460 million about real estate in Karachi.
In the very next month, the real estate developer purchased the land of around 460 kanals in Jhelum and transferred the land to Zulfi Bukhari, after the trust creation, the land was transferred in name of trust.
The Real estate developer also confirmed in the agreement that he will bear all the expenses for establishing and running the Al-Qadir University Project, and he will contribute funds and money for setting up of Project.

The trust received 180 million in donations while the salaries of staff and total expenditure in project was only around 8.58 million. NAB has recently started the inquiry against Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan and others involved in case.
