Pakistani Actress Humaira Asghar, Dead at 32 in Karachi Apartment

Well-known Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar was found dead in her apartment in Karachi, apparently a fortnight after her death. She was 32. Police reported that they were alerted to Humaira’s flat and entered when no one responded to their calls and knocking. Her body was discovered to be so badly decomposed that South DIG stated that it could have been dead somewhere around 14-20 days, while forensic expert Dr Summaiya Syed stated in her report that the body showed signs of decomposition already advanced. Humaira shot to fame after appearing on the reality show Tamasha Ghar, which is Pakistan’s version of Bigg Boss. She appeared on the show in 2022, and while she was eliminated in the fifth week, it brought her a wider audience. She was also in the movie Jalaibee in 2015 with Danish Taimoor and Ali Safina, as well as a few TV projects. In 2023, she was honored with the National Woman Leadership Award as the Best Emerging Talent and Rising Star.
