Gwadar’s Growth: New Hospital and Water Plant Launched

Interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar inaugurated the Pakistan-China Friendship Hospital and a Seawater Desalination Plant in Gwadar marking a Crucial step in the area’s Development. During the inauguration Ceremony Kakar urged the People of Balochistan especially the youth to take advantage of the Significant Development Opportunities in their Province. He Emphasized that those Opposing the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) were on the Verge of losing their Relevance and Cautioned against attempts to disrupt the Project.

Various dignitaries, including federal ministers, the Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan, and the Chinese Ambassador in Pakistan, attended the ceremony. Kakar Highlighted the Positive impact of China’s Modernization on the Region and Underscored how CPEC had improved travel within the Province. He tressed the need for skill Development to Participate in the expected  Trillion trade around China.

The inaugurated Projects include a desalination Plant to address Gwadar’s Water challenges and the Pakistan-China Friendship Hospital a 150-bed facility aimed at Providing Quality Healthcare. Kakar expressed Gratitude for the Chinese ambassador’s Commitment to a Solar Power Project and emergency Services for Quetta. He assured Comprehensive Security Support emphasizing the commitment of the Pakistan Army Police, and law enforcement Agencies to Safeguard Chinese Workers.

Plaques were unveiled during the Ceremony to Symbolize the Strong Collaboration between Pakistan and China. Kakar directed authorities to address electricity challenges by connecting the Northern Zone to the main grid. He Anticipated that Gwadar with the Cooperation between Pakistan and China would evolve into a Significant trade Hub for future Generations. Kakar expressed Confidence in Balochistan’s Progress Highlighted by the Completion of these Developmental Projects Signaling a new era for the Province.
