Ehsaas Programme Pakistan 2025: Complete Information & Updates

In 2025, Pakistan’s flagship welfare initiative, the Ehsaas program, continues to support millions of low-income households. The Ehsaas program was established in 2019 to support poor households in reducing poverty and to financially support workers during the Covid pandemic. The program was re-established in 2025 with new benefits available in the form of bigger benefits, more avenues for inclusion, and better digital access.

An important change is that the monthly cash grant offered under the Ehsaas Kafalat Scheme has increased. Eligible households now receive PKR 13,500, up from PKR 10,500. This increase is intended to support people covered by Ehsaas Kafalat to respond to the increases in living costs.

Another significant achievement in 2025 is the introduction of the Ehsaas Digital Wallet. For the first time registered beneficiaries can now access their funds through mobile applications such as JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and partner banks. Beneficiary funds can still be obtained at Ehsaas payment centers and ATMs.

Registration has also been simplified. People can now check their eligibility to register by sending an SMS with their CNIC number to 8171 and verify eligibility on the Ehsaas 8171 Web Portal. The government is also conducting new surveys to include more eligible families within the Ehsaas program.

The special schemes associated with Ehsaas are continuing to grow. The Ehsaas Nashonuma program focused on nutrition for children, Ehsaas Taleemi Wazaif focused on student education, and Ehsaas Amdan focused on livelihoods, continue to be available and are expanding throughout Pakistan.
