BYD has officially launched its powerful Shark 6 PHEV in Pakistan, on July 25, 2025, with a price tag of PKR 19.95 million. This is BYD’s biggest and most exciting step into the Pakistani market for a world-class plug-in hybrid pickup with great power, performance, and green credentials.
Unrivalled Hybrid Power and Range
The BYD Shark 6 comes powered with BYD’s unique Dual Mode (DM) hybrid system. With combined power outputs of 436 hp and 650 Nm of torque, it will bring both speed and stability. It has a 100 km pure electric range and a total of up to 800 km—suitable for both city drives and long distances.
Fuel Economy and Terrain Capability
With a 29.58 kWh capacity and BYD’s globally best Blade Battery, BYD Shark 6 offers fuel economy of up to 50 km/l. It has several driving modes, such as Mud, Snow, and Sand, that will keep it capable in the many muddy, snowy, and sandy terrains of Pakistan.
