The Pakistani javelin thrower Arshad Nadeem has had another feather put into his cap with his entry into the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2024 list. This is not regarded merely as an accolade but largely as a celebration of his amazing journey from Mian Channu to global prominence.
Forbes listed Nadeem in its Entertainment & Sports category, appreciating that he broke barriers within a sport rarely associated with Pakistan. The 27-year-old stalwart made history by bagging a silver medal at the World Athletics Championship in Budapest last year-first ever for any Pakistani in this event.
