Judicial Magistrate issued arrest warrant against Sumbal Iqbal, renowned Pakistani actress in on going case of Defamation and libel on social media. The magistrate issued warrant against the actress on basis of not providing enough proofs and witnesses to the court.
The court issued Rs 10,000 warrant after the actress filed a case in 2020 and still not providing enough proofs in court. According to the report from Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) Sumbal Iqbal filed a case of defamation and character assassination campaign on social media against Nadeem Kiani. The case was filed under Pakistan Electronic Crime Act (PECA).

Nadeem Kiani later got out on bail while the actress reported that Nadeem Kiani along with others started a campaign against her on social media. However the actress did not appeared in court for hearings and failed to provide enough evidence in court upon which the court ordered arrest warrant against her.
PECA ordinance
PECA ordinance is basically Pakistan Electronic Crime Act approved by parliament of Pakistan. It help people to protect their name, privacy or anything on social media. Recently Feroze Khan also sent notices to many famous celebrities under this PECA ordinance.
He claimed that Muneeb Butt, Aiman Khan, Minal Khan, Yasir Hussain, Sarwat Gillani and many other are defaming him on social media and causing negative impact on his personal life. FIA team approached the actors for investigation upon which the fellow actors also filed a case on Feroze Khan for leaking their private numbers on internet.

Muneeb Butt also made a YouTube video and advised Feroze Khan to change his lawyer as his current lawyer is only using his case for fame and subscribers on YouTube. The case is still in court and fans have a lot to say about it on internet.
