Pakistan, booming with one of the highest numbers of youth populations, continues to trail behind in equipping them with the right skills for today’s modern job market. As of 2025, both public and private organizations have rolled out free and affordable local job skills training programs for youth. They are preparing the youth for modern jobs, including IT, freelancers, construction, hospitality, etc. From digital learning to practical skills with hands-on technical training, these opportunities are putting thousands of young men and women in Pakistan on a better path. Digital Youth Hub to Empower Young Talent

“Digital Youth Hub” portal to support young people in Pakistan (64% of the population) find employment opportunities, scholarships, and money for entrepreneurial activities, and skills training in IT, AI, and vocational skills. The initiative is as a collaborative effort of PM’s Youth Programme with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) as part of a modern tech training strategy, aimed at converting the demographically advantageous youth population to economic growth and innovative activities by addressing many issues around unemployment; increasingly constrained access to pathways of education; and the rising tendency of Pakistanis to elect to migrate.
