Pakistan to Begin Mango Export from May 25

Pakistan will begin its mango export season 2025 on May 25, with export revenue pegged at $90 million. The Commerce Ministry declared the date after a round of deliberation and consultation with stakeholders.

• Exporting 130,000 metric tons of mango will add to foreign exchange reserves by over $90 million.
• Pakistani mangoes reach customers in the UAE, Afghanistan, Iran, the UK, and the US.
• Climate change has reduced mango production for three straight years.
• Keeping in view the slack production for 2000, this export season has seen a reduced target of 100,000 metric tons.
