nirmal kapoor mother of anil kapoor dies at 90
On May 2, 2025, Nirmal Kapoor passed away at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, being 90 years old. She represented the matriarchal leadership of the esteemed Kapoor film family. She was survived by her husband Surinder Kapoor who was a film producer and she contributed to creating a prosperous four-generation history in the Indian film industry.
Family members assembled at son Anil Kapoor‘s Juhu residence during Saturday to honor their loved one. Every person at the somber moment included both Kapoor family descendants and several influential members of Bollywood.
The family statement from Boney Kapoor revealed that his mother passed on May 2nd 2025 while being comforted by her entire family. She spent her life in contentment and joy before passing away while her loved ones four children and their wives, a son-in-law together with eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many unforgettable memories.
