Pakistan Men’s tour of Australia doesn’t start well as they dealt with many obstructions both on the field and above the field. Rain interrupted the game at the Gabba Stadium, Brisbane and the umpire decided to a 7 over game. The game looked interesting when Australia gave away their first two wickets at 9 runs. Later, the whole game turned one-sided with the brilliant batting and bowling of Australian Team.
Maxwell and Marcus Stoinis chalked up the score board with 93 runs. Glenn Maxwell’s 43 does the crucial backup for Australia along with the 21 runs of Stoinis. Pakistan’s Naseen Shah and Haris Rauf found difficulty in finding the oppportunity to take the wickets at the right time.
Pakistan batters entered the ground with Sahibzada and Rizwan as openers. They began to collapse down when Rizwan lost his wicket to the spell of Xavier Barlett at 0 score. After that no batter was able to position themselves with a smacking knock along with a decent partnership. Australia choked the Pakistan batsmen with their astounding bowlers Xavier Barret and Nathan Ellis with the three wicket for each. Constrained them at 64 runs.

“Such a shameful display from the Pakistan batsmen. Looks like Pakistan’s on a runway time” criticised Ahmed Shehzad after the terrible defeat against Australia.
“It was a truly disappointing performance put on by this Pakistan batting lineup. Younsters showed intent, Sahibzada, Haseebullah & Abbas tried putting on a fight but ALAS. It’s a team game, Pakistan bowling won’t help you survive every day. Seniors need to help step out their game in the batting department, shot selections weren’t up to the mark. If we compare Pakistan to the world, Power is missing. Pakistan never looked ready after the rain, with all being said I still wish Pakistan all the best for the remaining matches.”
