UAE commits $15 Million Aid to help Gaza

Abu Dhabi, The UAE is Stepping up to Help those in need in Gaza. President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has Directed the Allocation of $15 Million to Support the Amalthea Fund. This Fund was set up by Cyprus to aid the Maritime Corridor initiative between Cyprus and the Gaza Strip.The Goal of the Amalthea Fund is to make Sure Aid Gets to Gaza Efficiently. It will Coordinate the Flow of Aid and make sure it Reaches the People who Need it most.The UAE’s Contribution to this Fund shows its Commitment to Helping the People of Gaza during their tough Times. 

This Support comes at a Crucial Moment especially Since the Maritime Corridor between Cyprus and the Strip had been Suspended.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs MoFA Highlighted the urgent Need to address the Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza. It Stressed the importance of Getting aid to Gaza Quickly and Safely. The UAE believes in Helping its Palestinian brothers and Sisters and this Contribution is Part of that Ongoing Effort.

The Ministry Emphasized the need for immediate action to improve the Situation in Gaza. It’s Crucial to Ensure Aid can Flow Freely through all Available Channels by Land, Air and Sea. This includes Reopening the Maritime Corridor to allow for the Safe Passage of Goods and Aid Workers. The UAE remains Committed to Providing Essential Aid and Supplies to Gaza. Under the Wise Leadership of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan the UAE is dedicated to Supporting the Palestinian People. 

The Maritime Corridor is seen as a Vital Part of these Efforts to increase the Flow of Aid to Gaza while Ensuring the Safety of those involved in Relief Work.
