Imran Khan who is the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, has been Granted an extension of his temporary Release by an anti-terrorism court (ATC). from the case related to the attack on Jinnah House. This decision was made during a hearing and overseen all matters by Judge Arshad Javed. The bail has been extended until April 16, with instructions for Imran Khan’s lawyer, Salman Safdar, to present arguments at the next hearing.

This is not the first Legal Proceed involving Imran Khan and his PTI party members. Back on February 28, an Islamabad court acquitted Imran Khan, along with Asad Umar, Faisal Javed, and others, in a case concerning protest and vandalism.

The events leading to these legal matters began on May 9, when Imran Khan was arrested at the Islamabad High Court, sparking widespread protests across Pakistan. PTi Party supporters get very angry when their leader Imran khan gets arrested and they start protests in different cities including Lahore, Balochistan, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Even overseas Pakistanis join these protests online to support PTI leader Imran Khan. These protests escalated into Violence, leading to clashes and Disruptions of public order.

During one of these protests, PTI workers attacked Jinnah House, which is also known as the Corps Commander’s house, in Lahore. This incident get worse and added to the Legal challenges faced by Imran Khan and his Associates.

Imran Khan has been dealing with legal issues for a while now. Previously, he was arrested from his Lahore residence on August 5 in connection with the Toshakhana criminal case, which resulted in a disqualification of five years and a three year prison sentence.
