CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif Offers Helicopter Assistance for Patient Emergencies

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has take a huge step and decided to enhancing emergency healthcare services. She gave permission to the use of her helicopter for the urgent transfer of patients. This Decision comes as part of her Administration’s Commitment to providing best Healthcare Facilities to the People of Punjab.

During a meeting of the Air Ambulance Project in Lahore, Chief Minister Maryam expressed her determination to launch an air ambulance service in the province soon. Her proactive approach to addressing healthcare challenges was evident as she also announced plans to introduce the Rescue 1122 service on the motorway.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s dedication to improving healthcare infrastructure was underscored by her personal visit to a hospital in Sargodha, where she witnessed the plight of a heart attack patient.

After witnessing all the challenges  CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif was motivated to make changes. Maryam nawaz attended a 3 hour meeting and  she created a strong plan for the next five years i. This plan will improve health centers and dispensaries.  they will make sure there are enough doctors, Medicine and Equipment in all Hospitals.

To ensure transparency and accountability, Maryam Nawaz ordered the formation of a health advisory council comprising government officials, healthcare professionals and public representatives. This Council will play a huge role in guiding Healthcare Policies and initiatives.

The Chief Minister shows the standardization of design and functionality of Basic Health Units (BHUs) and RHCs, along with the immediate provision of free Medicines to patients. Plans are also underway to deploy mobile health units to rural areas and suburban communities, with a pilot project slated to commence in Lahore.

Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s actions show that Healthcare in Punjab is heading in a good direction.
