Pakistan and Uzbekistan are Determined to enhance their Cooperation and Strengthen their Partnership. They want to create a formal agreement called the Strategic Partnership Agreement, that will help them Work Closely together on Various matters, especially in economic and Trade areas.
During a meeting between Pakistan’s Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Tashkent both leaders emphasized the importance of Regional Connections. They are Particularly focused on Completing a railway Project that would link Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. This Project would make it easier for goods and People to move between these Countries boosting their Economies.
The Leaders also discussed how they can Work together in many Different areas like Politics, trade, economics, security, defense, and improving Connections between their Countries. Prime Minister Kakar mentioned that they have already put into action Some trade agreements which should help trade between the two Countries and Streamline trade with other nearby Nations.
In addition to their Cooperation on Economic matters the two leaders also talked about important Global issues, including the situation in Gaza and other Developments happening around the World.

This Meeting happened alongside a larger Gathering called the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization, which is taking place in Tashkent.
