Naseem took two wickets in first match of One-day international cricket and broke the World Record for most wickets. He broke the record against New Zealand in Rawalpindi stadium.
The record was first held by Matt Henry from New Zealand who claimed 19 wickets in six matches. Naseem Shah broke the record by taking 20 wickets in six matches. He is registered for impressive figures of 2-29 in 10 overs.

Pakistan played five of seven ODIs played by the team in the captaincy of Babar Azam. The two losses came against England in 2021 and New Zealand in January this year. The last T20 played by black caps and Pakistani team was 2-2 draw.
In the first ODI played yesterday, Pakistan won the match and other matches of current series will be played in Rawalpindi and three matches in Karachi on May 3,5 and 7.
