WhatsApp automatically follows your phone’s language. It doesn’t give its users a lot of language options, but that would change soon with a future update.
This update was announced by WABetaInfo – the outlet that reports the latest news surrounding the most-popular messaging App.
In the latest beta version of WhatsApp, the App seems to be working on a language picker. Once a user taps on it, it will show up a list of all the languages available in the App.
It is pertinent to state that the messaging platform currently supports about 60 languages, so we can expect to see all options in its new update.
It must be remembered that a similar feature is available in some markets like India, but it appears to be a global update for users across the planet.

Moreover, there is another major update included in Whatsapp’s beta version. After seven months of leaks, the Meta-owned App is rolling out message reactions for beta testers. It will let you choose between a list of emojis as a reaction, just like Facebook, Messenger and Instagram.
The current list of emojis includes Thumbs Up, Sad, Heart, Laugh, Surprise, and Pray.
Now, WhatsApp Android beta users can respond to messages with only emojis. The feature currently for beta testing would be released slowly for users of the App’s standard versions. However, WhatsApp is yet to confirm the date for universal rollout.
The feature was first noticed by users of WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.22.8.3.
It is not clear if users can change the emojis as per their needs or add new emojis.
