PIA plane seized in Malaysia Lumpur International Airport for not paying lease dues worth $4 million. The company seized the plane after receiving the order from a local court after payment of dues.
The Beoing 777 of Pakistan International Airlines was acquired by Malaysian Airport, but this is not the first time when PIA aircraft has been seized in Malaysia over dues issues. The same aircraft was seized by Kuala Lumpur Airport in 2021 on same issue.

Earlier, the plane was released on diplomatic assurance about the payment of dues. The seized plane was brought back to Pakistan on January 27 along with 173 passengers and crew members on board.
Well, there is no update of release of latest plane and economic condition of country is not so well to pay for the dues right now.

Every sector of Pakistan is currently in downfall due to economic and political crises, delayed bailout package by International Monetary Fund (IMF) is also making country in poor position.

The government of Pakistan also outsourced three main airports of Pakistan, Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore airports were outsourced to make the aviation sector stronger and providing travellers with better opportunities.
