The Lahore High Court LHC has made a Decisive ruling Regarding the Printing of Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s Picture on Kisan Cards in Punjab with Justice Shahid Karim dismissing a plea against this Practice filed by Citizen Mashkoor Hussain.
During the Court Proceedings the Punjab Government’s lawyer Clarified that the Decision to include Nawaz Sharif’s image on the Kisan Cards has not yet been Finalized. This follows a recent Challenge to the Decision where Hussain argued that utilizing Public funds for Personal Publicity even if approved by CM Maryam Nawaz Violates the Supreme Court’s Directives.
