Dr. Zakir Naik applauds Pakistan’s love and hospitality ahead of Karachi visit

Renowned Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik lauded the efforts of the Pakistani Ministry of Religion regarding their hospitality and love that had been showered upon him in the past few days by the general public.

He called for unity among the muslims worldwide and asked them to follow the Quran and Sunnah to overcome the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah. He made these statements during his meeting with Pak national assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Saadiq at Parliament house in Islamabad. 

The meeting between the two high profile persons covered a wide range of discussions on issues such as current challenges faced by Muslim community worldwide, interfaith harmony, and the need for collective efforts to bring harmony and peace.

The assembly speaker acknowledged Dr Naik’s contributions in spreading Islam’s message across the globe and also stated that Pakistan has always promoted unity and brotherhood and will continue to do so along with giving protection to minorities.

The two toured the Parliament house where the scholar was briefed about the legislative process of the country.

Dr Naik to Deliver Speeches in Pak Cities

The scholar is set to deliver religious speeches in major cities across the country. Dr Naik will be travelling to Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad in a span of 15 days. His tour is set to begin on Oct 5 in Karachi and end on Oct 20 in Islamabad.

He will be joined by his son Fariq Naik who like his father is an islamic scholar and will be delivering religious lectures alongside him in all the 3 cities. The first lecture event will be held at Bagh e Quaid, near the mausoleum of Quaid e Azam Muhammed Ali Jinnah. 

The Karachi lecture event is to consist of prominent figures across the political and religious realm including Governor Kamran Tessori, CM of Sindh Province Murad Ali Shah and Mayor of Karachi city Murtaza Wahab welcoming him to greet at Karachi airport.
