caretaker government pledges commitment to fair elections, dispels rumors
Caretaker Minister for Information Murtaza Solangi affirmed on Friday the interim Government’s unwavering Commitment to ensuring Free, fair and transparent General Elections in Pakistan. Speaking to a Private news channel Solangi emphasized that the Caretaker Government is dedicated to fulfilling its Legal and Constitutional Responsibilities.
Solangi reassured the Public and dispelled Rumors of Election delays noting that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has already released the final lists of Constituencies following the Completion of the Delimitation exercise across the Country. He Highlighted the Conducive Conditions and environment for Holding Elections and announced that all Political Parties will be allotted 54 days for their Election Campaigns.
The minister Reiterated the Caretaker Government’s objective of having the Country led by its Elected Representatives in accordance with the law and Constitution. He emphasized the People’s right to make their Decision on February 8, 2024, and encouraged any Political Party facing Perceived injustice to file a Complaint.

Solangi stated that the Caretaker Government is Committed to assisting the ECP in Conducting Elections with a focus on upholding the law and Constitution. He underscored the Role of independent Observers and the media in monitoring the Election results expressing Confidence in over 150 million Mobile phone users in the Country acting as a Broad Channel of information.
