Three accomplished Commodores of the Pakistan Navy have been Elevated to the esteemed rank of Rear Admiral. Rear Admiral Mazhar Mahmood Malik a distinguished Marine Engineering officer Commissioned in 1992 Holds accolades from Various Prominent naval institutions. His Significant Roles encompass Fleet Marine Engineering Officer, Deputy Managing Director at Pakistan Navy Dockyard and Chief Staff Officer to Commander Logistics. Currently Rear Admiral Mazhar Mahmood serves as the Managing Director of Pakistan Navy Dockyard in Karachi.

Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid, Commissioned in the Operations Branch in 1993, is a Seasoned Naval Aircraft Pilot. His Rich Experience includes Commanding a P-3C aircraft Squadron Serving as Commander Naval Aviation and undertaking Roles such as Chief Staff Officer to Commander North and Naval Attaché of Pakistan in the United States. In his new rank Rear Admiral Shahzad Hamid has been appointed as the Director General of Naval Intelligence.

Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood Commissioned in the Operations Branch in 1993 has a diverse Career that includes Commanding Various vessels and Squadrons. His Command appointments Range from PMSS BARKAT to Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron. Rear Admiral Azhar Mahmood has Served in Critical Roles Such as Chief of Staff to Commander Combined Task Force-150 at HQ NAVCENT Bahrain and Director Foreign Military Collaboration at NHQ. In his new Position he has been appointed as the Commandant of PN War College in Lahore.
