Bakhtawar’s Fiance Shares Wedding Location

Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari’s fiance Mahmood Chaudhary while taking to Instagram said that the duo will get married in Pakistan.

In a caption accompanying the engagement ceremony, Choudhary said that “My friends asked me if it will be a destination wedding: I said yes, destination Pakistan.”

He also shared a picture of his engagement ceremony held last month at Bilawal House, Karachi as he can be seen accompanied by Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari and other close family members. Aseefa can also be seen holding an iPad with Bilawal Bhutto on the screen as well.

Bilawal was unable to attend the wedding as he had just a few days before the engagement tested positive for Covid-19 and was under quarantine. The function was a very close event with participation from almost all of the top personalities of Karachi including but not limited to Bahria Town fame Malik Riaz and others.

“Very sentimental and emotional day. So grateful for everyone’s love and prayers. Especially our PPP family whom I know are eager to participate. InshAllah this is only the beginning – will be able to celebrate in a post-Covid world. Please keep SMBB and our family in your prayers,” Bakhtawar had said on the day of her engagement.

The ceremony was not a big event due to the rising number of Covid-19 in the country. The guests were asked to RSVP for their Covid-negative tests before attending the event, the invitation showed.

They were also not allowed to bring in their mobile phones as pictures and videos were strictly prohibited on the venue due to the nature of guests who were participating at the event.

The dress is worn by Bakhtawar also became the talk of the town after the details showed it paid tribute to her late mother Benazir Bhutto.
