Caretaker Federal Minister for Health, Dr. Nadeem Jan, has assured that Sehat Card Services will Continue Without interruption in Federally Funded areas. In a High-level Meeting he emphasized the Commitment to Providing these Services in all federally Funded Regions, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and district Tharparkar.
Dr. Nadeem Jan addressed Funding Concerns Pledging to Resolve any issues to ensure the Seamless Operation of the Sehat Card program. He expressed Gratitude to Punjab Health Minister Javed Akram and the Leadership of State Life for their ongoing Support to the Federal Program.
Reassuring the Nation Dr. Nadeem Jan Stated that with the Collaboration of all Stakeholders, the Sehat Card Program would Continue for the Benefit of all Pakistani Citizens.
The Meeting included Participation from Ansar Abdali Health Minister of AJK, Salman Mehdi, Chairman State Life, Muhammad Shoaib, CEO State Life, and Muhammad Arshad, CEO Federal Sehat Sahulat Program.

Earlier Punjab Caretaker Chief minister Mohsin Naqvi dispelled Rumors of Closing Sehat Cards in the Province. He Clarified that while the Cards are not being Closed, measures are being taken to Prevent misuse. Naqvi Highlighted that health Cards would Provide Completely free treatment in Public Hospitals with Private Hospitals offering 70% free treatment.

The Sehat Card Scheme, initially launched by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2016 was expanded to the federal Capital,Punjab and Gilgit-Baltistan in 2021. The Program aims to offer free Medical Services to low-income and poor Households Covering medical Bills up to Rs1 Million annually.
