Younis Khan, who has lately resigned from the post of batting coach of Pakistan’s cricket team, cleared the air of speculations that Hasan Ali was the possible reason for his ouster.
As per media reports, the batting guru was involved in a heated interchange with pacer Hassan Ali during the South Africa tour.
Younis had approached Hasan over a matter in the dressing room after the match, but Ali hit back with a strong response which irked the former batting coach.
Younis also remained quiet and the matter stayed under sheets during the rest of the tour.

Recently, a newspaper report has drawn up Hasan Ali being the actual reason for Younis Khan’s departure.
Younis Khan has, however, cleared the air by saying that spat with Hasan Ali did not lead to the decision.
The 43-year-old added that what happened between him and Ali during the South Africa tour was a matter that sparked in the heat of the moment, adding that incidents of this sort “normally happen” on tours. He also suggested that Ali’s name should not be dragged in the middle as currently he is on national duty and the rumour can lead to the diversion of his mind.
“I have no idea how this thing came to the media and got hype. It was in a heat of the moment and such things are considered normal on tours. I don’t think there is any requirement to give this issue a hype,” Younis Khan spoke to a media outlet.
Younis further revealed that the contract between him and PCB does not allow him to reveal the actual reason behind his resignation for the next six months. He, once again, highlighted that there were no particular differences between him and the team management.
Former Pakistan stalwart Khan came forth with his resignation as the batting coach just ahead of the national side’s tour of England.
