The United States has publicly endorsed Pakistan’s recently initiated combat against internal terrorism called Operation Azm-e-Istehkam. In his statement, US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller also expressed the United States’ readiness to help Pakistan in its fight against terrorism, stressing mutual concern for the stability of the region. This is happening as the rate of terrorism has increased in Pakistan Through mob action and religious intolerance in the past few weeks.
