(C)Daily Ausaf, trump will speak about khan due to pakistani diasporas pressure fawad
Pakistan’s former information minister Fawad Chaudhry said the US President-elect Donald Trump would speak about the former Prime Minister Imran Khan and basic human rights in the country because the Pakistani diaspora would force him to do it.
Impact of the Pakistani Diaspora on Trump
Chaudhry said that leading Pakistani businessmen, including oil barons funded Trump and supported him as he would talk of Khan and stand for basic freedoms in Pakistan. The ex-PTI chief feels that the US Congress has ‘reestablished its legal standing’ on the Pakistani human rights issue and expects Trump to act.
The relations between the United States and Pakistan and Imran Khan’s Release
According to Chaudhry the post USSR and post-American troop pull out of Afghanistan required Pakistan to reposition itself as its regional status was very low. He has confidence that Khan will make Pakistan important again after his release and Trump has no option other than to address the internal pressure and this cuts across the Pakistani immigrants.
